CAD and Graphic Design Technician

The Teesworks Regeneration Programme encompasses some 2,300 acres of development land and represents the largest single regeneration opportunity in the UK. It is a complex, major capital works undertaking that will likely be delivered across a 15 to 25-year timeframe. Essential to the success of the programme will be the efficient delivery of a very diverse array of multi-disciplinary projects and related project commissions under the direct control of STDC, within an integrated programme. The project work of STDC will also involve the integration of numerous new industrial development projects into the overall delivery of the regeneration programme, requiring, on occasions, the delivery of turnkey building projects to facilitate such developments going ahead. As part its activities to generate market interest for the establishment of new, employment-generating uses for the Teesworks site, STDC is also actively engaged in promoting the Teesworks opportunity and brand at both a national and international level.

STDC has been in operation for just over three years and has made appreciable progress in that time. However, the intensity of project and programme activity is now ramping up significantly across the Teesworks site. All of the above activities will need to be supported by significant drawing content and other high-quality graphical material and imagery.

In the role of CAD and Graphic Design Technician, you will work in support of Senior Management, Project Managers and Project Engineers in delivering a wide range of drawings, ground models and graphics for project delivery, land transactions and promotional activities.

The role of CAD and Graphic Design Technician represents an excellent opportunity to join only the third ever Mayoral Development Corporation in the UK, in the early stages of the programme. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a high-profile, dynamic delivery organisation on a regeneration programme of national significance.
